Cigars
There is a nice little cigar shop just off of Martires between Marti and Caballero (5 minute walk from Lizzett's). It can be very difficult to obtain legitimate cigars in Holguin other than at this shop. It is open from 8am to 5pm Monday to Saturday. I have also heard that cigars can be bought just outside the cigar factory.
There are three shops in Guardalavaca and most of the hotels in the area sell cigars in their shops. I have been a frequent customer at the shop associated with "Club Amigo" at the Hotel Atlantico in Guardalavaca. I find that this shop provides the best service, selection, and knowledge about cigars. Prices for hand made cigars range from $3.70CUC for a Montecristo #4 to $18.00CUC for a Cohiba Esplendito.
